FAQ!

Question: What are signs that you have rodents in your house or signs of a rodent infestation?

Luke says:

Signs you may have rodents in your home:

  • Fecal droppings: Look for small, dark pellets that are about the size of a grain of rice. Fresh droppings are dark and moist, while older ones are dry and crumbly.

  • Gnaw marks: Check for chew marks on food packaging, furniture, and walls. Rodents chew to wear down their teeth, and you may find shredded insulation or paper.

  • Strange noises: Listen for scratching, scurrying, or gnawing sounds, especially at night, which may indicate rodents are nesting nearby.

  • Unusual odors: A strong, musty smell in your home can be a sign of rodent activity, particularly from droppings or urine.

  • Holes and entry points: Look for small holes or claw marks in walls, windows, or around doors, which may indicate rodents trying to enter your home. â€‹

Question: How we do make your home rodent proof and rodent free?

Luke says:

Seal All Entry Points

Rodents can enter through very small gaps:

  • Mice: openings as small as a dime (¼ inch)

  • Rats: openings as small as a quarter (½ inch)

    What we do

  • Inspect foundations, siding, roofline, vents, and pipes

  • Seal holes using:

    • Metal flashing and caulk

    • Hardware cloth

    • Cement or expanding foam (for larger gaps)

  • Install door sweeps and repair damaged screens

  • Install garage door plates to prevent garage entry
